Sisterhood

There are various activities which Kappas at CMU partake in, formally and informally. Each year, sisters participate in CMU’s biggest philanthropy event called Greek Sing, allowing sisters to bond together and also connect with other fraternities and sororities along the way. Kappas also host the Kappa Krush and Sapphire Formal, where sisters gather with our dates at lively venues and have fun over food and music. Sisters also have a blast with each other when working on Booth during Carnival.

But besides these events, you can always find Kappas around Pittsburgh enjoying their time with each other. From cozy movie nights in the living room, adventurous pole dancing classes in the South Side, to klassy charcuterie picnics on the quad, Kappas fully embrace every chance to connect and have fun. Our annual Valentine's Day mailboxes, filled with heartfelt notes and thoughtful surprises, never fail to brighten our days, just like our year-end trips to Kennywood, where we create unforgettable memories with our sisters. Whether it’s a small gesture or a big adventure, Kappas hold these moments close, knowing they’ll be treasured reminders of our dear Kappa days for years to come.
