Welcome to the Delta Xi Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma at Carnegie Mellon University!
Kappa Kappa Gamma is an international women's organization that values leadership, growth, sisterhood, and academics while providing women with support and balance. Since 1944, the Delta Xi Chapter has been made up of passionate, genuine, and motivated leading women who form more than just a community at CMU but a community for life. Our bonds are truly unparalleled as we support each other in athletic competitions, thesis presentations, artistic performances, and late nights in the library.
Each Kappa brings a unique set of qualities and perspectives to the table. Together we have created an amazing and diverse sisterhood full of women who offer advice when asked, support when we feel lost, an ear when no one is listening, or a laugh when it's needed the most. Within the walls of the Delta Xi house lie lifelong friends, life lessons, and lasting memories.
This sisterhood has changed my life in so many ways, giving me boundless opportunities and the truest of friendships. I'm so proud to call these women not only my sisters but also my best friends. From delivering grilled cheese to raise money for our philanthropy to sitting on the roof of the second story of our booth to getting ready for formals with your pledge class in the second floor bathroom, Delta Xi is full of laughter, love, and memories everlasting. Kappa Kappa Gamma gives us all the opportunity to become leaders, to learn what it is to be a true friend, to give back, and to continue to become the women we aspire to be.
